“If my world were to cave in tomorrow, I would look back on all the pleasures, excitements and worthwhilenesses I have been lucky enough to have had. Not the sadness, not my miscarriages or my father leaving home, but the joy of everything else. It will have been enough.” – Audrey Hepburn
Finding True Joy
I love the quote above as it gives you true perspective on how Audrey looked at life. We have choices when we approach life. We can be optimistic or pessimistic. Many of us probably are the latter I know that I have been the latter for certain. Audrey Hepburn was a remarkable woman. On screen she projected herself so well and was so known in the Hollywood social circles. You would never know about the sorrow that she faced in life. I think you have to understand is that part of our early probation is to go through trials in life. We live in a fallen world and I don’t care how charmed your life may be you will face some sort of adversity.
Glass Half Empty or Half Full?
So now that we have established the fact that everyone will endure something sometime. We need to think about how we approach those trials. We can be pessimistic and focus on the bad that is going on or the trials. And guess what? I believe in the law of attraction because I know that when you think negatively all you will get is negative things in life. But if you look at life with gratitude each day you will attract abundance and joy into your own life.
Attracting The Good Things
I stand firm in knowing that if you think positively you can attract better things in life. Its never easy and never instant. But when you look at life like Audrey has you can expect her results. There is so much in life that is amazing. Sometimes we can miss the moments that are right in front of us. God does ALLOW not cause trials and bad things. But God also loads us with daily benefits. Choose to look at the good things.
